ESPN has done a very nice story on Ed Thomas. Truly shows how great Iowa football is, even in the face of tragedy. #
Found out Noel Gallagher just left Oasis. Kind of stunned. Don't know how this is going to shake out. #

Brought a truck load of DVDs over to the house. Makes the apartment look nearly empty. Still a lot of work ahead. #
Rewarding my hard work by watching the Green Lantern movie. So far it's really good. I like the animation style more than I thought I would. #
Tallied up my monthly pull list. I think I'm going to have to cut back on a book or two. Which do I choose tho? #
How much money do you think Hollywood pays each USPresident to make a vague statement about UFOs? Their speeches end up in a lot of movies. #

I was going to go to bed but the latest @ifanboy episode just popped up on my Apple TV. Who needs sleep after an 12 hour work day? #
The BBC America ad at the start of the latest Doctor Who DVD was brilliant "… chance to hear words pronounced correctly." Hilarious. #
@dwj you still interested in coming to Tyler on Friday or Saturday. We could hit Brookings Books on Saturday. #
Signed up for Mint.com only to find my bank isn't in their system. Sigh. It was a nice thought. #
RIP John Hughes. I think I'm going to put in Breakfast Club this weekend to remember the man that made the 80s cool. #

Papers done. Watched TRS, HD Nation and wrapping up Hogfather part 1 on DVD. Time for bed I do thing. Close on my house later today. #
I'm thinking the Favre thing with the Vikings was a Packers ploy to mess up the Vikes season. Another reason I don't like Favre. At all. #
Just picked up three Manic Street Preachers albums I didn't have off iTunes. #
